Exploring Essential Oils

In today's fast-paced world, many of us find ourselves juggling multiple responsibilities, and stress and anxiety can become constant companions. While I love making all the things from scratch and gardening, I’m also a full time IT Director, which can be very stressful. Recently, my husband and I embarked on a journey to discover natural remedies to alleviate stress and improve our sleep quality. While he will be sharing his findings in upcoming blog posts, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to my newfound love: essential oils.

Exploring the World of Essential Oils: Up until now, my experience with essential oils had been limited to basic uses, like using lavender for sunburn relief and tea tree oil for my son's eczema. However, I decided to delve deeper into the world of essential oils by investing in a beautiful diffuser and expanding my essential oil collection. The possibilities seemed endless, and I was excited to explore the therapeutic benefits of these natural wonders.

My Aromatic Arsenal: Let's take a look at the essential oils I've gathered and plan to experiment with:

Lavender: Known for its calming and soothing properties, lavender essential oil is perfect for relaxation and promoting a good night's sleep.

Chamomile: Chamomile essential oil is another excellent choice for relaxation, with its gentle, sweet scent. It's ideal for winding down after a stressful day.

Clary Sage: Clary sage essential oil has a warm, earthy aroma that may aid in stress reduction and emotional balance.
